About Camp Mather
Camp Mather is San Francisco Recreation & Parks' family camp on the edge of Yosemite, just outside Hetch Hetchy. It runs each summer with cabins and tent sites, a lake, a pool, a dining hall, and a packed schedule of activities for kids and adults.
Reservations are run by SF Rec & Parks through an annual lottery for San Francisco residents, with remaining weeks opened to the public. This community-built guide collects what regulars know — what's in each cabin, where things are on the map, and what to bring — so first-timers can pack smart and returning campers can plan ahead.
